NO.17 Donated dogwood seedlings!

　On Tuesday, December 19, the Hodogaya Ward Federation of Elderly People's Clubs (Kagayaki Club Hodogaya), which celebrated its 60th anniversary this year, donated dogwood seedlings.
　As an organization that has long been rooted in the community, the Hodogaya Ward Senior Citizens' Club Federation has been engaged in a variety of activities, from health promotion and hobby activities to watching children go to and from school and beautification activities in the community. On November 16th, the 60th anniversary ceremony was held at Hodogaya public hall, and I attended.
　The donated dogwood has the flower language of "permanentness."
　I heard that you chose this tree with the hope that both Hodogaya Ward and the Federation of Geriatric Clubs would develop for a long time.
　The presentation ceremony was attended by 12 officers, including Chairman Matsuno, and expressed their gratitude for their daily activities and for this donation.
　At the tree-planting ceremony that followed, we had a hoe with Chairman Matsuno.
　It is still in the bud stage, but the flowers will bloom around May next year.
　As it is planted in the flower bed next to the sidewalk in front of the ward office, even if you are in a ward, I would like you to see it when you come to the ward office.
