I met a 105-year-old active painter Hiroko Inoue.

We visited Hiroko Inoue, an active painter who lives in Kanagawa Ward and turns 105 this yearDirector General.
Mr. Inoue is still active in producing works and exhibiting at exhibitions. Her husband, Nobumichi, was also active as a sculptor during his lifetime, and works are still left in Sorimachi Park and Mitsuzawa Park. My daughter, Shizuko Ohno, is also active as a contemporary artist. Mr. Inoue, who was shown in the atelier, felt powerful, yet calm and gentle energy from the paintings he is currently producing.
