Blind Special Needs School Floor Volleyball Club National Tournament Runner-up

Last updated on October 18, 2024.

In today's “Director General People and Town Exploration” (outside site), we have met the members of the floor volleyball club for the special needs school for the blind in Matsumi-cho, Kanagawa-ku.
The Flora Volleyball Club has won the runner-up at the 8th National School for the Blind School Floor Volleyball TOKYO Tournament held this year. On the day of the interview, we observed basic practice and game-style practice with coaches. Both the students and the coaches played with all their might, and watched the powerful developments, such as attack sounds, block sounds, and footsteps to mislead opponents.
According to the student, "I think there is an image of sports for the visually impaired in silence, but floor volleyball is the opposite of silence, such as the voice of teammates, the footsteps that confuse the opponent, and the cheers of the audience. is. That's one rewarding and fun."
I'm supporting you to win next year's tournament!
