Long-term care insurance system Insured persons and insurance premiums
The long-term care insurance system is operated with insurance premiums paid by the insured and public funds.
As a result, various businesses become providers of nursing care services, and those who are identified as needing support or nursing care can select the services they need at their own request.

Out-of-pocket expenses

When using facilities, etc., there is a user burden such as living expenses (stay expenses) and food expenses.
In addition, if the usage fee exceeds a certain amount, a large amount of nursing care service fee will be paid and the burden will be reduced.

〇 Nursing care service self-pay subsidy (Yokohama-shi original system)
For those who belong to municipal tax-exempt households and meet certain "income standards" and "asset standards", we will support the user burden of visiting places and short-term entrance service group homes.
For those who have been certified as eligible for this system, the out-of-pocket expenses when using the service will be reduced to 3% or 5%.
