Election Administration Commission

What is the Election Commission?

Based on the provisions of Article 181 of the Local Autonomy Law (Act No. 67 of 1947), the Election Commission is established as an organization independent of the chief, such as the mayor, so that elections can be held fairly. Consists of four members elected in the parliament.

From 10:00 am on Monday, April 21, 2025	Special Conference Room on the 5th floor of the Konan Ward Office

●The date and time are subject to change, so if you would like to observe, please check in advance by telephone.
●In addition to the above, meetings are held separately at the time of election as necessary.

○About hearing of Election Administration Committee

(1) Capacity 4 people (If the capacity is exceeded, it will be a lottery)
(2) Please come to Konan-ku, Yokohama-shi board of elections from 30 minutes to 10 minutes before the reception meeting starts.
(3) Depending on the bill to be discussed, it may be closed.
