Senkyo Forum
Classes
The Senkyo Forum is a regular enlightenment activity for elections using a participatory learning method, and is a discussion project in each ward of Yokohama City as a chance to learn and discuss politics, elections and familiar living issues jointly. I am.
In order to raise interest in politics and raise awareness of voting participation, Konan Ward conducts mock voting on themes related to actual elementary school life for sixth graders.

At the Konan Ward Bright Election Promotion Council, we participated in a high school cultural festival in Konan Ward and exhibited an election awareness booth. We hold various events every year, such as quizzes and distribution of educational items, so that high school students can be interested in the election.
At the high school cultural festival in Konan Ward, we held a mock voting to decide on election enlightenment items to be produced in 2025!
In 2025, we conducted a mock voting using actual election equipment for the purpose of having the polling place feel closer and grab the image of the act of voting. The theme of the voting was "Determine what to create with educational items for the next fiscal year", and we set a theme that is easy for anyone to understand.
