Kogiku Bonsai Exhibition was held at nagayamon Park (December 1, 2023).

　This year, I visited the Kogiku Bonsai Exhibition held at nagayamon Park.
　Unfortunately, it was raining, but I met the members of the sponsored Setani Kikuyukai and were able to see many works while listening to various stories such as how to grow "Kogiku".

　I am surprised that it will create such various shapes in one year and become a "bonsai" where you can feel the scenery of valleys and other places. Due to the intense heat of this summer, there were some works that died even though they were in shape, and I realized again that climate change affects various places.
　The exhibition was held until November 25th. We look forward to the event next year.

　In order to boost GREEN x EXPO 2027 from the local community, we have launched a project to create a flower Seyamaru with the cooperation of the Sekiya Kikuyukai. On November 19, we held an initiative to create Seyamaru with Kogiku. Nearly twice the capacity applied, and those who were elected by lottery participated.

　The next meeting will be held in April. We will recruit in the March issue of the public relations Yokohama Seya Ward version, so if you are interested, please join us.
