On Pink Shirt Day (the day against bullying), ward office staff also participates in pink items (February 28, 2024)

　February 28, 2024 was this year's Pink Shirt Day.
　This activity started at a high school in Canada. Two senior students who heard that a boy student was bullied by going to school wearing a pink polo shirt purchased a large amount of pink clothing and sent classmates through electronic bulletin boards and e-mails at the school The next day, let's wear a pink shirt at school together, "and many students who agreed to the call stopped wearing pink shirts and accessories, and school was dyed.
　This action has led to the declaration that the last Wednesday of February is Pink Shirt Day, and every year, campaigns against bullying are being rolled out around the world.
　In response to this action, we, as the Seya Ward Office, decided to take part in our duties on Pink Shirt Day by volunteering to wear pink shirts and accessories. On the day, 135 staff members wore some kind of pink item.

　Bullying is a sneaky act that tramples on the human rights of others and is by no means acceptable.
　Seya Ward will continue to work with related organizations to eradicate bullying.
　Next year, February 26 will be Pink Shirt Day. It's an initiative that you can participate anywhere, so how about everyone?
