We visited the 5th Flower Road Project (December 19, 2023)

Last updated on December 19, 2023.

On Sunday, December 10, SEYANISHI SDGs PROJECT participated in the "5th Flower Road Project" planned.
The day was warm, which I couldn't imagine in December, there was no wind, and I was blessed with the best cheerfulness for my activities. More than 150 students from Yokohama Seya High School, elementary school student and parents of Kami Seya Elementary School, and local residents of Seya Daiichi, Hongo and northern Seya participated. .
With the cooperation of many participants, it was said that the project was completed one hour earlier than the planned time.

SEYANISHI SDGs PROJECT is an organization launched after graduation by Seya Nishi High School OBs and OGs, who completed the school in March this year, and has been active as a Hama Road supporter working on road beautification activities together with Sayamimorubo. . This year's second flower planting activity was supported by the participation of local companies, soccer team FC Yokohama, and beach soccer team Rave Yokohama, and other sports teams related to Seya Ward.

From Seya Station to the vicinity of the Nakazeya Fire Branch Office on the Navy Road, more than 1,200 bright flowers such as pansies will be colored early next spring. And bees bred by the sea bees collect nectar from these flowers and become honey from Seya. In this way, the Flower Road Project contributes to the coexistence of regional circulation and SDGs in Seya Ward, and is an activity ahead of the philosophy of GREEN × EXPO 2027.
Please enjoy it when you take a walk or drive by car.
There is a story that we would like to continue this initiative next year, and I am grateful that the locals are excited about the momentum for GREEN x EXPO 2027.
