The "Local Flower Festival" was held at Kami Seya Elementary School (December 1, 2023)
Last Saturday, November 25, I went to the "Local Flower Festival" held at Kami Seya Elementary School.
In February of this year, in order to inherit the legacy of cherry blossoms on the Navy Road, fifth graders at Kamiseya Elementary School challenged "grafting cherry blossoms" under the guidance of "Shidmore Sakura no Kai Yokohama". Did. At that time, a 6th grader who was with me invited me to write about this festival in a polite letter and visited this time.
Kami Seya Elementary School has been participating in the "Seya Open Garden" since the spring of this year as the closest elementary school to the venue of GREEN x EXPO 2027. I am grateful that you have been trying to get excited as soon as possible for the GREEN x EXPO 2027 to be held three years later.
At the time of "Seya Open Garden", local people told me that "I would like to see what kind of flowers bloom in this wonderful courtyard even in different seasons", and this "Local Flower Festival" was held That's right.
In the courtyard, there were 12 stalls, such as playing on the theme of "flowers" planned by sixth graders and making bookmarks using "flowers" itself.
Along with the opening, many local people also visited.
Sixth graders were told that they would like to take over the courtyard that they valued as a tradition so that junior students could take care of them.
When 6th graders graduate from junior high school, GREEN x EXPO 2027 will begin. I'm sure three years are in no time. Please look forward to the GREEN x EXPO 2027 held locally.
Both 6th graders and junior high school students will learn well, have a good time with friends, and enliven the exposition together. Please watch how Kami Seya will become a wonderful place while leaving the natural environment.
It's a winter vacation in another month. Please enjoy elementary school life well while being careful not to catch colds during the cold winter season.
