In Yokohama City, the City of Yokohama, Housing and Architecture Bureau Excellent Architect Designer Award has been held since fiscal 2007 with the aim of improving the skills, creativity and motivation of designers, securing excellent public buildings, and contributing to the improvement of citizen services.
