In Yokohama City, we are promoting initiatives for children to come into contact with real culture and art.
One of the initiatives, “Mental Education Contact Concert,” is held every year for all municipal elementary schools and compulsory education schools (1st and 5th grade out of 4th to 6th grade students) and elementary schools of special needs schools. By providing opportunities to listen to the performances of the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra and improving their sensibilities for music, you will develop the qualities and abilities to live richly, and also learn manners when watching classical concerts.
