13.Keirokai

Last updated on September 21, 2023.

Keirokai, co-hosted by the Neighborhood Associations of Neighborhood Association and the Japan National Council of Social Welfare, was held. On September 17, the Shimo-Izumi Alliance Neighborhood Associations and on September 18, Nakata Alliance Neighborhood Association and Nakagawa Alliance Neighborhood Associations performed performances after the ceremony. Everyone who participated was fine, and some of them turned 101 in August. This time, the three districts I visited were targeted at people aged 75 and over, but in other districts, as the population ages and the number of target people increases year by year, it seems that they have been devised for each unit Neighborhood Associations. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all those involved, including Neighborhood Association Executive Officers for their efforts in holding the Keirokai.
I have a mother who is 90 years old this year, but I feel that such an era is approaching in the age of 100 years of life. I sincerely hope that you will be fine forever and grow older like yourself.

September 21, 2023 Ken Yamaguchi, Mayor of Izumi
