29.Izumi Ward Protection Association, etc.

　This year's award was given to distinguished persons such as the Izumi Ward Protection Association. This award honors the achievements of park protection associations, waterside protection associations, and Hama Road supporters who have contributed to environmental beautification and revitalization of local communities for many years. This time, we handed a certificate of commendation with gratitude to 17 people.
　In addition, this year, we held a workshop on creating mixed flower container after the award ceremony as a new attempt to foster momentum for the GREEN × EXPO 2027. At the workshop, Mr. Kaoru Mochida of Flower Mochida-en, who produces flowers in Kamiida-cho as a lecturer, gave a lecture on points to make mixed flower container, points to note for growing flowers, such as soil selection and water methods. I also participated, and it was a very good experience to learn about the fun of making mixed flower container.
　I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the award-winning people and everyone who has been active in the protection society on a daily basis. We look forward to your continued support and cooperation in maintaining the rich water and greenery of Izumi Ward and revitalizing local communities.
