17.The 20th Izumi-ku, Sendai-shi Izumi-ku and Yokohama-shi Izumi-ku Exchange Festival

　The 20th Sendai-shi Izumi-ku and Yokohama-shi Izumi-ku Exchange Festival was held in Izumi Ward, Sendai-shi and Yokohama. This exchange meeting has been sponsored by the sports associations of both cities for many years, but this 20 times will be one break. Since it was the last friendly tournament, Mayor Izumi of Sendai City (Mayor Kimura) also rushed in.
　A social gathering was held on the 17th, softball was played at Sakaigawa Yusuichi Park on the 18th, and volleyball played at the Izumi Sports Center, ending the history of the long exchange game so far.
　As a result of the exchange game, softball was 2 wins in Sendai City, 1 win in Yokohama City, 1 draw, and volleyball was 2 wins in Sendai City, 1 win in Yokohama City, 1 draw, but friendship that can not be replaced by winning or losing I think it remained as a great achievement.
　I would like to pay tribute to the inhabitants of the ward for many years. Sports are a common language, and I felt that friendship has been established through this. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the people who have worked hard, including the Izumi Ward Sports Association of Yokohama City and the Izumi Ward Sports Association of Sendai City.
