08.All medical expenses up to the third grade of junior high school is free!

In Yokohama, the Subsidies for Medical Expenses for Pediatric Treatment system will be expanded in August to make medical expenses (insurance medical treatment) free of charge for children up to junior high school students. Until now, there were people who had to pay part of the medical expenses or those who were not eligible depending on their income, but from August, all Yokohama citizens are eligible regardless of their income. For those who have not been eligible, we will send you an application individually around the end of May. We are conducting various public relations at digital signage at stores in Izumi Ward and public facilities, but if you have not yet applied, please apply as soon as possible.
In Izumi Ward, we will continue to pursue a variety of initiatives aimed at becoming a child-friendly town in Izumi Ward.
