Diversity that plays a leading role in fire brigade in the July issue

　On July 17th (Sun), the Kanagawa fire brigade Summer Training Session was held and watched on a large site of the private sector office in the coastal area. Ten squads from nine squads in the city participated and competed for the results of daily training.
　The “Small Pump Operation” competition is a competition in which five teams compete for fire extinguishing techniques and time at a fire site at a certain distance with water in a fire prevention water tank. It is a test of how to turn the tip, accurate and prompt procedures, and cooperation.
　Each team trained for a considerable amount of time, and the crisp movements and shouting were impressive, and I felt dependable and dignified. 20% of the players were women, some foreign nationals and working nursery teachers, and some teams of Kanagawa University students.
　It was a very impressive day to see the various inhabitants of the ward protecting their town as fire brigade members.
