　Shirahatakamicho is located on a hill and has a wonderful view, but it is an area where steep hills, stairs, and narrow roads are connected in a mesh shape, and it is expected that the fire spread will be large if a fire caused by an earthquake occurs.
　To improve such disaster prevention issues, Neighborhood Association began full-scale community development activities in 2021. Through events in cooperation with town walks and children's associations, we reorganize and discover the issues and good points of the town again, and summarize the target image of the future town and initiatives to realize it as the "Shirahatakamicho Disaster Prevention and anti-crime program Town Development Plan". It was certified by the city in March this year.
　From the self-government chairman, `` In the future, based on this plan, we will implement soft initiatives such as disaster prevention activities and hardware maintenance initiatives such as installing handrails on steep stairs, and realize a town where people can live safely and safely. "

　Listening to the story, I was very impressed that activities involving a wide range of generations, such as younger generations and those who brought children, were being carried out in consideration of community development and local cafe initiatives. . 　I felt that Shirahatakamicho's efforts, which are carefully creating an environment where local people can easily participate and the town is united and fun, will be helpful in other areas that have disaster prevention issues.
