November locally grown and consumed in Kanagawa Ward! “Kiyo marche” directly managed by farmers

　November is locally grown and consumed Month. This time, I visited Kiyo marche, a direct sales shop run by farmers.
　Kiyo marche, which opened in 2012 and celebrates its tenth year this year, sells fresh and delicious freshly harvested vegetables twice a week. It seems that multiple farmers started working together to encourage local customers to buy many kinds of vegetables.
　I asked about one hour before the start of sales. Instead, farmers will line up familiar vegetables such as cabbage and radish, slightly unusual vegetables such as blue papaya, bread and honey made in the area. In the meantime, there were many customers waiting for the opening of the store, and the popularity of "Kiyo marche" was conveyed.
　One of the most impressive things about this tour was that the farmers were very friendly and active, and the whole "Kiyo marche" was a bright atmosphere. We are also challenging new things one after another, such as disseminating information using SNS and selling vegetables that require reservations during the COVID-19 pandemic. I hope that many people will continue to deliver fresh vegetables.
　Agricultural land spreads in the western part of Kanagawa Ward and various crops such as cabbage are produced. It is the privilege of Kanagawa residents to be able to eat freshly picked delicious vegetables!
