On August 27, the 73rd Kanagawa Ward Boys and Girls Softball Tournament was held at Katakura Usagiyama Park. The event was threatened by the intense heat, but the weather was relatively cool on the day, and the tournament was held.
This is the 73rd historic event this year. Watching the elementary school students of the nine teams in the city playing well, I felt even more joyful that this tournament was held. Thanks to the Executive Committee (Sports Promotion Committee / Youth Instructor), the Softball Association, team managers and parents, we were able to hold the tournament safely. . Thank you very much.
The finals are scheduled to be held on September 2. I hope that the weather will be blessed and that the event will be held safely.
