From October 2015, the mutual aid pension was unified to Employee Pension Plan (Kosei Nenkin) (outside site)
※Each mutual aid association (group) will continue to provide pensions, etc.
Request for disability welfare pension
You will be paid if you remain disabled due to illness or injury on first visit (Shoshin) Day (the day you first consulted your doctor) while you are enrolled in Employee Pension Plan (Kosei Nenkin) and meet certain requirements.
- Depending on the degree of disability, there are grades 1, 2, and 3 for disability pensions, and there are other disability allowances (lump-sum).
- If you receive a first or second grade disability pension, Disability Basic Pension will also be paid.
- The minimum guarantee for grade 3 is 612,000 yen per year (610,300 yen per year for those born before April 1, 1956) (FY2024).
