Notice from Consumer Affairs Agency
Beware of accidents caused by refueling oil stoves etc.
If the lid of the refueling tank of the oil stove / oil fan heater is not sufficiently closed, kerosene may spill from the refueling tank during the refueling work, causing a fire, leading to death.
1.Refueling safely
○Ensure that the lid of the refueling tank is closed
・Confirm that the lid is closed and that there is no oil leakage, and return it to an oil stove, etc.
○Be sure to extinguish the fire and refuel it.
・When refueling, be sure to extinguish the heater and refuel it in a place where there is no fire.
○Special attention to old products
・Some products sold before the national safety standards were changed in 2009 are difficult to confirm that the filling port of the refueling tank has been securely closed, and may not have an automatic fire extinguishing function during refueling.
2.Confirm that your home product is not a recall product
For information on recalled products, please refer to the Consumer Affairs Agency website, "Colleum heaters with recalls (including alerts)" below.
