From October 25 to November 25, 2021, the "Ekiden Tournament Connected by Torch" was distributed and held!
Last updated on January 4, 2022.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, the Naka Ward Nursery School Ekiden Tournament was held by 29 nursery schools with older children, with Naka Ward in 19 schools.
Since it was the year of the Olympic Games, this time we borrowed a torch that we actually used from the torch runner of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The event was held from October 25 to November 25, 2021, with the theme of "Ekiden Tournament Connected by Torch", where children can experience the same experience of touching the torch even if the venue was different.
On October 25 (Negishi Forest Park) and November 15 (Yamashita Park), a total of three torch runners rushed in to interact with torch relays and children.
7 Nursery schools that could not participate in the venue brought a torch to each garden and had a touching experience, and all 29 older children could experience the same experience as touching the torch, and relay relay connected by the torch The tournament has ended successfully.
