Autumn Tsurumi is full of highlights (October 2023)

　
　The heat of the day has eased, and mornings and evenings have cool days. How are you, everyone?
　
　By the way, this year is the milestone year of the 100th anniversary of the Great Kanto Earthquake, and many families may have confirmed their preparations at home.
　Tsurumi Ward has been engaged in various disaster-prevention initiatives with all of you, but since last month we have begun to organize stockpilings at our bases to facilitate the operation of evacuation shelter. In order to protect yourself from disasters, it is essential to have each individual self support and community support, which helps each other in the community. We ask for your continued cooperation in improving disaster prevention capabilities.

　Last month, we held a briefing on the new metropolitan system called Special City, which attracted many people from Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and others. On the day, Mayor Yamanaka explained the special municipal system that Yokohama City aimed at, and exchanged opinions with the chairman and vice chairman of the Federation of Self-Government Associations. We want to try for all of you to know contents and significance of special city in future.

　From now on, Tsurumi in autumn is full of fun events and attractions. In addition to annual festivals such as the Tsurumi Seaside Festival and the Tsurumi Uchina Festival, the Tsurumi Ward Shopping Street stamp rally and Autumn FES in Tsurumi 2023 will be held for the first time this year.
　I'm looking forward to visiting each venue. I hope everyone will feel the charm and liveliness of Tsurumi again.
