Fiscal 2024 started (April 2024)

　In April, I think that you will welcome your new life, such as enrollment, enrollment, and employment.
　It's been my third year since I arrived at Director General. We will continue to work harder this year, so we look forward to your continued support.

　The other day, the results of the future population estimation of Yokohama City were compiled, and the estimation results for each ward were also announced. This estimate was based on the results of the Reiwa 2 (2020) census up to 2070, and according to this, it is estimated that the population of the entire city will continue to grow until 2057 in Tsurumi Ward as the population continues to decline. This is a characteristic trend in the city.
　We will continue to protect the vitality and liveliness of the city and create a town where everyone living in Tsurumi Ward will continue to live.

　By the way, on the 19th of last month, the GREEN x EXPO 2027 (2027 International Horticultural Expo) on the theme of the environment was held three years before, and on the same day, the official mascot character design was announced.
　At the time of the GREEN × EXPO 2027, Tsurumi Ward has been promoting PR through countdown boards at ward offices and events at various locations in the ward, but since last month, a new flower bed has been installed at JR Tsurumi Station East Exit. The colorful flowers and wakkun welcome you, so I hope you will be able to see them when you commute to school or go out every day.

　The Mitsuike Park (Culture and Environment) Festival will be held on Saturday, May 18th. We look forward to your visit.
