Three months have passed since I arrived (July 2022)

　It was early, and three months have passed since I arrived at Mayor Tsurumi.

　Since I arrived, I have visited various parts of the ward and touched on the streets that make use of history and culture, such as the old Tokaido and Yokomizo mansions, and the rich nature of the four seasons like Tsurumi River and Mitsuike Park. I feel that Tsurumi Ward is a ward full of charm. In addition, while visiting the traditional event area of Shiota Shrine Reitaisai festival, Snakes and Mosquito Festivals and talking with residents of the city, I feel the local love and love of Tsurumi Ward.

　In the NHK TV series Chimudon, which began broadcasting in April, Tsurumi Ward was one of the stages, and many people came to Tsurumi Ward after the show. We will continue to promote the appeal of Tsurumi Ward so that we can continue to be bustling without missing this opportunity.

　In June, we formulated the 4th Tsurumi Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan (Tsurumi Ainet). Based on the basic philosophy of "helping each other, supporting each other, and networking between people", we are promoting initiatives to create a town that supports each other. 　In Tsurumi Ward, the number of people infected with COVID-19 is increasing rapidly, and the situation remains unpredictable. In such a situation, the hot summer and the arrival season of the typhoon are approaching. In order to protect the safety and security of residents of the city, the Tsurumi Ward Office will take measures against infectious diseases at Team Tsurumi and prepare for disasters that will not occur at any time.

　Inhabitants of a ward, please be careful about body such as heat stroke and spend this summer.
