The city of Yokohama is working to contribute to improving productivity and solving social issues by utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as IoT and AI, and to create new business models by supporting demonstration experiments through I thinking Yokohama.
In order to improve the energy efficiency of communication networks used for autonomous driving, Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. will conduct the world's first demonstration experiment to verify wireless communication switching technology for millimeter wave wireless LAN and 5G networks (replace with Wi-Fi in experiments) in Rinko Park (Seaside Park) management passages.
