San Diego, USA, is one of the leading startup-supported regions in the United States with annual venture capital investment of more than 160 billion yen.
The City of Yokohama and the Kihara Memorial Yokohama Life Science Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Kihara Foundation) will collaborate with the U.S. entrepreneur support organization CONNECT to develop and support small and medium-sized startups in the life sciences field.
Companies participating in this program will brush up their business plans with mentors and improve their pitch skills. During the mentoring period, experts and coordinators from the Kihara Foundation or the Yokohama Corporate Management Support Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "IDEC Yokohama") will assist you in running along.
In addition, after completing the program, we will report the results to VCs and related companies in the United States via Demo Day.
Through this initiative, Yokohama City will support small and medium-sized startups in order to realize "Innovation City Yokohama".
