The census will be conducted nationwide with October 1, 2020 as the deadline.
This survey is the largest and basic statistical survey conducted for all people living in Japan.
Yokohama City has established the 2020 National Census Yokohama City Implementation Headquarters, headed by the Deputy Mayor, in order to accurately and smoothly carry out the census targeting 1.71 million households, the largest number of basic municipalities in Japan. We will inform you that each ward office has established a ward implementation headquarters headed by Director General.
