About establishment of designated city mayor society "diverse big city system realization project"

The Designated City Mayors' Association (Chairman: Fumiko Hayashi, Mayor of Yokohama) has traditionally proposed "early realization of various metropolitan systems such as special autonomous cities" and has been conducting requests to the country.
This time, we will establish a "Diverse Large City System Realization Project" in order to formulate a draft for the legislation of the "Special Self-Government Municipal System" and make proposals to the national and political parties.
In the future, we will have academics participate as advisors, and we will proceed with the development of drafts for the legislation of the "special self-government municipal system".
