The Health and Social Welfare Bureau Health Promotion Division is recruiting staff for the fiscal year to engage in passive smoking prevention measures.

In order to carry out indoor smoking cessation stipulated in the Health Promotion Law and to prevent unwanted passive smoking, we will perform the following duties based on reports from citizens.
(1) Patrol guidance for passive smoking measures for city offices (visits and guidance to restaurants, etc. where indoor smoking cessation is not protected)
(2) Subsidiary services related to the handling of violations of the Health Promotion Act (recommendations, orders, etc.)
(3) Enlightenment work related to passive smoking measures (touring, signboard installation, etc.)
(4) Services to respond to inquiries regarding passive smoking (including telephone support)
(5) Other duties deemed necessary by the head of the affiliation
　　 ※Including disaster response work in the event of a large-scale disaster (basically auxiliary work, only during working hours)

（１） Being interested and motivated in promoting the health of citizens
（２） Being able to respond to business trips in the city
（３） Being able to face-to-face and telephone service
（４） Basic operation of a personal computer (word, Excel, e-mail software, etc.)
（５） Being at least 20 years old as of April 1, 2025
　　　※The Health Promotion Act stipulates that children under the age of 20 are not allowed to enter smoking areas, so age restrictions are set.

（１） Appointment period
　　　 From April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026
（２） Working hours, etc.
　　　 From 8:45 to 17:15 (including 1 hour break time)
（３） Working days
　　　 Work four days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
　　　 ※Excludes holidays and New Year's holidays (December 29-January 3).
（４） Work location
　　　 City of Yokohama, Health and Social Welfare Bureau Health Promotion Section (6-50-10 Honmachi, Naka-ku, Yokohama)
　　　 ※The government building is non-smoking on the premises.
（５） Salary
　　　 ¥200,900 per month ※This is the estimated amount for fiscal 2025. It is subject to change due to the revision of the system.
　　　 Payment of end-of-term, diligence allowance and commuting expenses (equivalent to actual expenses) separately
（６） Vacation
　　　 According to the rules regarding working hours, vacations, etc. of staff appointed for the fiscal year of Yokohama City
（７） Social insurance
　　　 Joined employee health insurance (Yokohama City Mutual Aid Association), Employees' Pension Insurance and employment insurance
（８） Others
　　　 Working conditions are based on related regulations such as the regulations about salary of staff appointed for Yokohama-shi fiscal year and expense compensation.
