Purpose and Method of Research

Purpose

In the future, the wave of the COVID-19 pandemic is expected to repeat, and in that case, it will be necessary to participate in COVID-19 medical treatment at non-specialized hospitals such as our hospital. Therefore, the treatment results of our hospital as a non-specialized hospital are considered to be important in securing COVID-19 hospitalization beds in the future.

Method

Data of COVID-19 patients admitted to the Yokohama City Stroke Neurospinal Center are collected backwards and aggregated.

Subject of research

Data of COVID-19 patients admitted to our hospital is collected backwardly and tabulated.

Research Period

From September 4, 2020 to December 31, 2021

Types of specimens and information used in research

Collect information from existing medical record data.

Acquisition and storage of samples and information

All information is anonymized so that individuals cannot be identified. In addition, the information obtained will be strictly managed for a period of 5 years after the end of the research or 3 years after the date of reporting the results, whichever is later.
