Recruitment of beverage vending machine installation companies [Yokohama Animal Forest Park (Satoyama Garden)] (open call for participants type installation management permission project)

• Name of city park: Yokohama Animal Forest Park (Satoyama Garden)

• Location 1425-4, Kamishiranecho, Asahi-ku, Yokohama-shi and others

• Installation location: Near the administration building of the front entrance square (see the figure below)

• Number of installations: 4 units

• Permitted area: 5m2 (1.25m2 x 4 units)

From April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2028

1. Sales commission ratio: Proposal with a minimum of 20%
2. Harmony with surrounding landscape: Proposal of initiatives related to harmony with the landscape around the installation site
3. Beautification of parks other than empty container collection: Proposed measures to prevent the scattering of garbage associated with the installation of beverage vending machines and to beautify cleaning.
4. Utilization of city businesses: Regardless of whether applicant is city company or not, we propose utilization of city company in setting construction or management duties.
5. Efforts to address environmental issues: If there is a unique approach that contributes to countermeasures against environmental issues, proposals (proposals are optional, but are included in the evaluation of business selection)
6. Other unique initiatives: If there is a unique approach that contributes to improving convenience, etc. (Proposals are optional, but are included in the evaluation of business selection)

• Open call for participants: Monday, December 2, 2024
• Questionnaire submission deadline: Friday, December 13, 2024
• Answer to the question: Friday, December 20, 2024
• Submission period for application documents: From Monday, December 23, Reiwa 6 to Wednesday, January 15, Reiwa 7
• Selection and decision of the company to be set up: From late January to early February of Reiwa 7
• Signing of Memorandum of Understanding: around the end of February, 2025
• Application for installation management permission: around the beginning of March, 2025
• Installation work and sales start: Tuesday, April 1, 2025

• Since the installation period expired at the end of 2024, verification was conducted based on the installation results and company interviews.
• The business operator smoothly installed, managed and operated beverage vending machines, contributing to improving the convenience of park users.
• In selecting a business operator, we tried to evaluate the sales commission rate proposal, but there was no problem with using it as an evaluation item.
• We will install beverage vending machines after 2025, and we will openly recruit businesses. For details on the application conditions, please refer to the application guidelines to be announced in the future.
