medical expenses subsidies for single-parent families
If a single-parent family, such as a mother-child family or a father-son family, who has joined the employee health insurance, receives a doctor due to illness or injury, Yokohama City will pay a portion of the co-payment on behalf of the city. Survivor's Pension
If a person who is enrolled in National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) or who satisfies the basic age pension qualification period (in principle, 25 years) dies, the "wife with a child" or "child" whose livelihood was maintained by that person until the end of the year when the child reaches the age of 18 (until the age of 20 if the child is in a grade 1 or 2 disability).
