Director General Column Director General's appointment (May 1, 2023)

　I am Kazuyoshi Takazawa, who was appointed Director of Minami Ward on April 1.
　I am very pleased and honored to be able to work in Minami Ward as Director General during the milestone year of Minami Ward's 80th anniversary.
　Unfortunately, the event of the "Minami Sakura Festival" scheduled to be held at Makita Park on March 25 and 26 was canceled due to rain, but
I also visited the venue on the day and met the local people who have been preparing for the event for the first time in four years. As I touch upon your thoughts, I feel how Minami Ward has valued the connection between people through festivals and other events, and I realize Minami Ward's catchphrase, "The Wind of Minami is Warm."
　Events and events have been canceled for a long time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but in fiscal 2023, we will hold various events and events to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the constituency system until the commemorative ceremony in December, and we hope to use it as an opportunity to restore energy. Furthermore, through the formulation of the Yokohama City Medium-Term Plan, as the entire city promotes “Yokohama, a town that nurtures the next generation of children,” the ward office will work together to ensure that you are happy to live in Minami Ward and want to continue living.
