Message from Director General (Aoba 6 University Cooperation Representative Meeting was held)

　On June 16, we held a meeting with representatives of six universities with campuses in the city and a representative meeting of Aoba 6 universities.
　There are six campuses in Aoba Ward, making it the largest university campus in the 18 wards. Taking advantage of this favorable environment, Aoba Ward concluded a basic agreement on cooperation and cooperation in January 2010 to deepen ties with universities and local communities.
　At this representative meeting, we exchanged opinions on future initiatives. .
　Regarding the Aoba 6 University Cooperation Special Lecture scheduled to be held in December this year, Aoba Ward would like to promote child-rearing support, an important measure of the city, as well as promote the target as "child-rearing parties or child-rearing supporters". Was. In addition, in the next fiscal year, we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aoba Ward System, so we will work together on the anniversary project.
　We will continue to deepen our collaboration with universities and work together to further enhance the appeal of Aoba Ward.

※Aoba 6 universities are six universities, Kokugakuin University, Seisa University, Tamagawa University, Toin University of Yokohama, Nippon Sport Science University, and Yokohama University of Art, which have campuses in the ward.

※The Aoba 6 Universities Collaboration Special Course is an open course conducted by Aoba Ward and the Aoba 6 Universities under the agreement. Inhabitants of a ward can take lectures that make use of the characteristics and expertise of each university. It is scheduled to be held in December this year and will be announced on the Aoba Ward website and on the Yokohama Aoba Ward version.
