Message from Director General (I visited the summer festival in Aoba Ward)

　
　From July to August, we visited summer festivals held in various places in the city.

　Since fiscal 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic, many regions will be held for the first time in four years, and I think many people have been looking forward to it.
　We saw various events such as drum performance, Bon dance, children's mikoshi, etc., and danced together with "Aoba Ondo", not only enjoyed the summer festival, but also touched the smiles of many people I was very happy.
　Unfortunately, we couldn't participate in all the festivals in the city, but we were able to feel the energy of Aoba residents on our skin.

　I think there were more difficulties than ever before, such as the difficulty of preparing for the first time in several years and the ongoing COVID-19 countermeasures.
　I would like to express my sincere respect to all the people who have worked hard.

　Aoba Ward will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year.
　We would like to enliven the memorable year with you so that the year will be a lively year like the festival you visited.
