Message from Director General (concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement with the post office in the ward)
Last updated on March 13, 2024.
We concluded comprehensive cooperation agreement with post office in ward
On February 16, 2024, Aoba Ward concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement with 23 post offices in the ward with the aim of improving residents' services and solving regional issues. I am very grateful and encouraging to be able to conclude an agreement with a post office with a large network.
As the first step of the initiative based on the agreement, the post office will use motorcycles (173 vehicles) and vehicles (34 vehicles) that you have to cooperate in disseminating information from the city. Specifically, we will attach stickers related to the 30th anniversary of the Aoba Ward's constituency system and the GREEN x EXPO 2027 international horticultural exposition held in Yokohama in 2027.
In addition, when the agreement was concluded, they introduced the initiatives of the "Aobadai Honeyby Project". In this initiative, it is said that honey from bees raised on the roof of the Aobadai Post Office is making products with neighboring elementary schools. In addition to allowing children to learn the importance of environmental conservation, we hope that they will continue to develop in the future through initiatives that will lead to regional revitalization, and I would like to visit once by all means.
We will work to become a more familiar ward office by having the post office, which is a familiar presence of the inhabitants of the ward.
