Message from Director General (The 2024 Aoba Ward Fire Fighting First Ceremony will be held on January 5!)

　On January 5, the 2024 Aoba Ward Fire Fighting First Ceremony was held.
　Part 1 at Aoba public hall held a ceremony after the silence of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on New Year's Day, and presented a certificate of commendation and a letter of appreciation to those who were instrumental in fire and disaster prevention. I would like to thank all those who have been working hard on a daily basis.
　After the ceremony, firefighting performance in Part 2 was held at the Aoba Ward General Government Building No. 2 parking lot. In the first half, the sound of traditional woodworking by the members of the Shinko Tobi Association, a transfer, and a ladder ride were performed, and in the second half, a vehicle march by Aoba fire brigade and the fire department and a comprehensive firefighting performance were performed. Was decorated.
　Many inhabitants of a ward came to visit, and although it was a short time, I feel that it was a spectacular firefighting first ceremony that showed the daily training.
　We would like inhabitants of a ward to think about disaster prevention again in the wake of this first ceremony and earthquake, and to prepare for emergencies.
