Message from Director General (I visited a business operator in the ward)

　
　After taking office in Director General in April, I had the opportunity to visit our offices in Aoba Ward. Thank you very much for all of you.
　At Japan Tobacco Inc., we visited Tobacco Central Research Institute. In addition to explaining the group's business and the business being conducted at the research institute, they also introduced the greenery that is preserved on the premises. The hill on the premises seems to have been around since the institute was opened in 1973, and I felt a long history.
　At Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, we visited the Science & Innovation Center. In addition to the research facilities in the new research building (opened in 2022), we also saw the external exchange area "KAITEKI Palette". In this area, an exhibition space introducing the company's wide range of technologies and a space for exchanging opinions with customers were also set up, and we felt our efforts to accelerate open innovation with outside the company.
　Midoriyama Studio City Co., Ltd. toured the studios used in drama shooting, as well as the studios used in the Midoriyama Studio Career Education Program. The contents of the program were also introduced, but it was an attractive one that adults could enjoy as well as children.
　We would like to work with businesses in the city to create a more attractive Aoba Ward. Thank you very much for your continued support.
