History and origin of the town name / Biyugaoka Nishi 1-chome to 3-chome
Hen history / origin
A town newly established from a part of Motoishikawacho with the enforcement of the land readjustment project in 1989. Transferred from Midori Ward following the reorganization of administrative districts in 1994. The name of the town was named because the town area is on the west side of Utsukushigaoka.
