Surrounded by modern objects, this library has undergone many changes to this day. The concept, which was established in 1919, was forced to live here and there due to financial difficulties, and the Great Kanto Earthquake was finally on track. It was finally built on the site of the former Oimatsu Elementary School in Nogezaka, but was soon requisitioned by the military command in World War II and devastated, and was occupied by the U.S. military after the war.
