64.Tofu Hall found Tofu no Yakata (Hiranuma 1-37-2)
There is a tofu mound in a corner of the precincts of Afuri-jinja Shrine's lower shrine in Oyama of the Tanzawa Massif. It was erected by Kyushu literature doujin in memory of Ken Hase, a writer who died in a traffic accident while writing masterpieces such as "Children of Asakusa" (9th Akutagawa Prize). . Because he liked a little tofu, he looked like a pure white marble as tofu, and when he was drunk, he repeatedly ran "Where here?" And pronounced "Shirabaku" without saying "for a while" The posthumous Buddhist name of "Where here is Shirabaku" is engraved.
By the way, there is a building related to tofu in Nishi Ward. At the base of Hiranumabashi Bridge, I heard that the white building imaged a tofu cut into rhinoceros. This is the Tofu Kaikan, which includes the prefecture's tofu oil fried business association and the city's tofu commercial and industrial cooperative. The soft tofu makes the shoulders and elbows smile.
