56.Unexplained Inari (35 Oimatsucho)
At present, only stone steps and stone walls remain.
Inari Shrine is located next to a printing company, one corner of Tobe's five-way intersection. I don't know the name or origin when I ask in the neighborhood. The eaves of the Sayado, which protects the shrine hall (although not so much), are tilted, and all the servants' foxes lack their necks, and the lantern shades are damaged.
In first gate, the year of Taisho and the letters "Odainori Memorial" are faintly read, and the two torii gates show the era of Showa and "Tomizawa □ Kura" (□ is unknown). Speaking of which, in the past, there was a Tobe sewing school in this area, and when I looked it up, the founder was Shigetoko Tomizawa. This might be a clue to something. The Koshin Tower, located at the back of the precincts, was built in 1711, but four years ago, Mount Fuji erupted to form the Hoeizan.
