With the introduction of the online qualification confirmation system at medical institutions, etc., the limit application category can be confirmed with the consent of the individual, so the limit application certificate (for households exempt from residence tax, `` Limit application / Standard burden reduction certificate ") is unnecessary.

If you use a minor insurance card, you will be exempted from paying more than the limit in the high medical expenses system without prior procedures. You do not need to apply in advance for the limit application certificate, so please use your minor insurance card.

※Paper limit application certificates, etc. can be used as before.
※Those who fall under the following need to apply for a limit application certificate.
・If you are going to a medical institution that does not have an online qualification confirmation system
・Household tax-exempt households who have been hospitalized for more than 90 days in 12 months prior to the application date will receive further reductions in dietary allowances.

Please apply to the ward office Insurance and Pension Division in your ward office.
