What happens if I do not pay National Health Insurance premiums?

If you do not pay the National Health Insurance premium, the following procedures will be performed. .
About sending of dunning notices, notices (pre-seizure notices), etc.
Premiums have each due date specified by the ordinance, and if payment cannot be made by the deadline, a reminder letter will be sent according to the regulations of the ordinance. In addition, you may receive a notice (pre-seizure notice).
※For those who have not paid, you may receive a phone call to confirm payment.
Procedure of arrears
If you do not pay by the specified deadline of the dunning letter, you will be charged a late payment fee.
※Calculation of arrears
It is the amount calculated by multiplying the number of days from the day after the designated deadline of the dunning letter to the payment date by the rate specified in the regulations. Click here for the percentage of arrears.
