On September 30, co-hosted with Isogo Ward Elderly and Disabled Support Division, "Start today! "Dementia and Locomo Prevention Lecture" was held. This lecture is part of the Isogo Ward Care Prevention Awareness Project.
Dr. Akiyama giving a lecture
In Part 1, Dr. Haruhiko Akiyama, Director of Clinical Research, our hospital, gave a lecture on the theme of "dementia." In the lecture, treatment methods and preventive methods were explained based on the difference between dementia and forgetfulness due to aging. .
Ogawa Physiotherapist giving a lecture
In the second part, Akihisa Ogawa, a physiotherapist of our hospital, gave a lecture on the theme of "practice locomo prevention." In the lecture, there was a commentary on locomotive syndrome and an explanation of locomo preventive exercises at home while actually moving the body.
On the day, a total of 63 people, including the staff, participated, indicating the high interest of the inhabitants of the ward in the lecture theme. In the questionnaire after the event, we were able to learn happily, and there were many opinions that we wanted to work on preventive care even more positively, and the lecture was satisfactory.
