Procedures for entering elementary and junior high schools such as private and national schools
Last updated on February 2, 2022.
If a child with a resident registration in Kohoku Ward is enrolled in a private or national elementary or junior high school, an out-of-area study notification must be submitted to the Kohoku Ward Office (excluding international schools and schools).
If you are attending elementary or junior high schools in other municipalities, please consult with the Board of Education of other municipalities.
Procedures in the case of "middle school year (transfer school)"
If you are going to enter a private or national elementary or junior high school in the middle of the school year, please submit "Transfer / Exit registration form" to "Transfer School".
Procedures at "Elementary and junior high school where you plan to attend school"
You will receive a document that shows that you have been allowed to enter the school you are going to attend, such as "School (Enrollment) Consent Form (Permit)".
In addition, since the "Success Notice" is not a document that is allowed to attend school, it cannot be used in the "Notice of Out-of-area Study".
Procedures at the Kohoku Ward Office
Please submit "registration form Out-of-Area Study Abroad" and "Consent Form (Permit)" (not copyable) to Kohoku Ward Family Registry Division.
In addition, it is also possible to apply by mail.
For more information, please refer to "Notice of Out-of-Area Study by Mail".
