~ I will support the shopping street in Midori Ward~
Thank you very much for your cooperation in refraining from going out and requesting leave of absence due to COVID-19 sensitivity.
Although the declaration of a state of emergency in Kanagawa Prefecture was lifted, the economy was hit hard by the restraint and reduction of sales over two months. In Yokohama City, various economic measures have been launched to protect citizens' lives and corporate and business activities.
This time, we asked Chairman Okutsu of the Midori Ward Shopping Street Federation (Chairman of the Nakayama Shopping Street Cooperative) and Vice Chairman Nakayama (Chairman of the Nagatsuta Shopping Street Cooperative) to explain these measures. This was the first time in shopping streets and stores to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, and they were often confused. Nevertheless, as I talked, I felt a strong desire to move forward looking ahead, and I felt very reliable.
In addition to Yokohama City, Midori Ward will continue to support the shopping streets. In addition, we would like inhabitants of a ward to understand and cooperate in balancing infection prevention and economic activities under a new lifestyle.
