[24th] Congratulations on the 50th anniversary of Takeyama!

We were invited to attend the "Takeyama 50th Anniversary Ceremony" held at Takeyama Elementary School on November 3 (Culture Day). .
Prior to the ceremony, the opening ceremony was performed by the brass band of Kamoi Junior High School. As the group practice did not remain due to the corona disaster, the performances that were finished on this day were very wonderful, with the breath of each part perfect! "Furusato", which was played again at the encore, was relieved with a song appropriate to celebrate "Furusato Takeyama".
At the ceremony, Mr. Tsutomu Otani and Mr. Takeyama handed a letter of appreciation to all those who have contributed to the community for many years at Takeyama housing complex, which celebrated its 50th anniversary since its commencement in 1970. I talked with Chairman Otani and the award-winning people, and I was impressed by the unity that has built a community from scratch.
The operation of the ceremony, which is designed to limit the number of attendees and ensure social distancing as a measure against the COVID-19 infection, will be one of the good examples of the future of local events.
Takeyama, thank you very much for inviting me to the wonderful ceremony. We hope that the local people will continue to be active for the development of the Takeyama area.
